OPEN AIR TOURS SEASON OPENING
OLDER CLASSICS
Vor den Toren der größten Schweizer Stadt gelegen, ist die Motorworld Region Zürich immer wieder Treffpunkt für große automobile Events. Zwischen Zürich und Winterthur ist die direkte Lage an der Autobahn A1 auf dem ehemaligen Maggi-Areal, heute „The Valley“, ideal.
Den Auftakt in die Saison machte für Sportwagen, Cabriolets, Youngtimer oder Oldtimer das „Open Air Tours Season Opening” Ende April mit rund 300 Fahr- zeugen. Gleich darauf startete der Sonntag mit dem Older Classics, das (mit Ausnahme Juli) jeden Monat bis zum Herbst auf dem Gelände in Kemptthal stattfindet und Fahrzeugen mit Oldtimerstatus vorbehalten ist.
Eine Ausnahme gab es am vergangenen Sonntag: Die neue AC Cobra wurde den Besuchern präsentiert.
Located on the outskirts of Switzerland‘s biggest city, time and again Motor- world Region Zürich acts as a meeting place for major automotive events. It is perfectly situated between Zurich and Winterthur right next to the A1 motorway on the former Maggi site, now called „The Valley“.
The season kicked off at the end of April for the around 300 sports cars, conver- tibles, classics-to-be and classic cars with the „Open Air Tours Season Opening“ event. Straight after this, the Sunday started with the Older Classics, which will be taking place every month (apart from July) until the autumn on the Kemptt- hal grounds and is reserved for vehicles with classic car status.
There was one exception last Sunday with the presentation of the new AC Cobra.
