Die Coppa D‘Oro, der eigentliche Publikumspreis am Samstag, ging an den Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder mit einer Karosserie von Pininfarina und Scaglietti. Der Wagen hatte ein Dutzend Vorbesit- zer, darunter die französische Schriftstellerin Fan- coise Sagan. Sie liebte schnelle Autos und prägte den Spruch „Whisky, Glücksspiel und Ferraris sind besser als Hausarbeit“.
The Coppa D‘Oro, the actual public prize on Sa- turday, went to the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder with a body by Pininfarina and Scaglietti. The car had a dozen previous owners, including the French writer Fancoise Sagan. She loved fast cars and coined the saying „Whisky, gambling and Ferraris are better than housework“.
