Mit ausgebuchten Starterfeldern und gleich 36 anstatt vorher geplanten 30 Concours-Fahrzeugen im Concours of Elegance „The Grand“ machen die ICONS Mallorca viel Vorfreude auf nahezu eine ganze Woche der Mobilität.
Vom 2. – 5. Oktober 2024 sind der internationa- le Concours für Coachbuilding-Einzelstücke und Sportwagen, Prototypen und Concept-Cars sowie drei Rallyes der Garant für automobile Vielfalt auf der größten der Balearen-Insel.
Die Rallyes „On Tour“ – für Klassiker, „La Vitesse“ – nur für reine Damenteams und „Extravaganza“ für Supersportwagen und Hypercars entführen die Teilnehmer-Teams über Routen der Westküste und Ostküste ins zauberhafte Mallorca. Im Herbst kehrt hier bei angenehmen Temperaturen zwischen 23 und 25 Grad Celsius Ruhe ein, die Landschaft be- geistert mit geschwungenen Straßen und bildschö- nen Städtchen und Häfen.
Aus Puerto Portas und Port Adriano starten die Rallyes – in Llucmajor an der Rennstrecke des Cir- cuit Mallorca oder in Palma enden die beiden Ta- gestouren.
Warm-up und Check-In ist jeweils an der Motor- world Mallorca, die sich im weiteren Baufortschritt schon jetzt von ihrer besten und einer sehr ein- drucksvollen Seite zeigt. Hier bekommen die Team s schon einen „sneak-preview“ auf das, was den Standort Mallorca ausmachen wird.
Die Rallyes starten alle am Dienstag, Mittwoch und Donnerstag – also am 1., 2. Und 3. Oktober.
With fully booked starter fields and 36 instead of the originally planned 30 vehicles in the “The Grand” Concours of Elegance, the ICONS Mallorca are creating an air of anticipation leading up to almost an entire week of mobility.
From 2 – 5 October 2024, the international Concours for unique coachbuilding projects and sports cars, prototypes and concept cars, as well as three rallies, will guarantee automotive diversity on the largest of the Balearic Islands.
The rallies – “On Tour” for classic cars, “La Vitesse” for ladies-only teams and “Extravaganza” for super sports cars and hypercars – take the participating teams along routes on the west and east coasts around magical Mallorca. The island quietens down in the pleasant autumn temperatures of between 23 and 25°C, while the landscape captivates with its winding roads and picturesque towns and harbours.
The rallies start from Puerto Portals and Port Adriano, with the two day tours ending in Llucmajor at the Circuit Mallorca racetrack or in Palma.
The warm-up and check-in will be taking place at Motorworld Mallorca, which is already showing its best and most impressive side as the construction work progresses. Here the teams can get a sneak preview of what will make the Majorcan location eventually stand out.
The rallies all start on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, that is on 1, 2 and 3 October.
