Dieses klassische Motorrad wurde mit einem modernen Design aktualisiert, wobei die ursprüngliche technische Philosophie der Marke beibehalten wurde. Jedes Detail ist handgefertigt, und nur 300 Exemplare dieses Herita- ge-Modells wurden gebaut.
Die moderne Inkarnation entstand, als der britische Klas- sikerspezialist Mark Upham 2008 die Rechte am Namen Brough erwarb und sich mit Thierry Henriette von Boxer Bikes in Toulouse, Frankreich, zusammentat, um eine völ- lig neue, ultra-exklusive, moderne Maschine zu bauen, die diesen Namen auch verdient.
Die Brough Superior SS100 MK2 setzt weiterhin auf den bekannten V2 mit 997 cm3 Hubraum, der 100 PS und 89 Nm Drehmoment liefert. In der nicht homologierten Track-Version sind es 132 PS und 120 Nm. Für das Son- dermodell wurden einige Gehäuseteile aus dem Vollen gefräst. Der V2 sitzt in einem Rahmen aus Titan, auch der Heckrahmen ist aus diesem Material gefertigt. Das Vor- derrad wird von einer Gabel nach dem Fior-Prinzip mit Alugussschleifen und Umlenkhebeln aus Titan geführt.
Diese Rarität steht derzeit bei GT-A in der Motorworld München. Exklusiver kann man kaum in den Sommer star- ten.

This classic motorcycle has been updated with a modern design while retaining the brand‘s original technical philo- sophy. Every detail is handcrafted and only 300 examples of this heritage model were built.
The modern incarnation came about when British classic specialist Mark Upham acquired the rights to the Brough name in 2008 and teamed up with Thierry Henriette of Boxer Bikes in Toulouse, France, to build an all-new, ult- ra-exclusive, modern machine worthy of the name.
The Brough Superior SS100 MK2 is still based on the well known 997cc V2, which produces 100bhp and 89Nm of torque. The non-homologated track version produces 132 bhp and 120 Nm. Some of the bodywork has been milled from the solid for this special edition. The V2 sits in a ti- tanium frame, and the rear sub-frame is made from the same material. The front wheel is guided by a Fior-type fork with cast aluminium loops and titanium rocker arms.
This rarity is currently on display at GT-A at Motorworld Mu- nich. There is no more exclusive way to start the summer.
