Der 1973 errichtete Rundbau beherbergt eine Themenausstellung mit rund 15 Stationen. Fünf große Ausstellungsebenen widmen sich den be- kanntesten BMW Motorrad Designern, den unter- schiedlichen Kundeninteressen, den faszinierends- ten Motorradkombinationen und herausragenden Modellen. Darüber hinaus werden einzigartige Schätze aus der historischen Fahrzeugsammlung der BMW Group Classic erstmals auf einer eige- nen Plattform der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.
Im Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung stehen eine Reihe von Original-Motorrädern aus 100 Jahren, die die Entwicklung der Marke BMW Motorrad im Laufe der Zeit adäquat widerspiegeln. Darüber hinaus zeichnet die Ausstellung anhand von Tanks, Sitz- bänken, Leuchten, Helmen, Rahmen und kleineren technischen Details spannende Entwicklungsli- nien von der Vergangenheit bis in die Gegenwart nach. Aber auch spezielle Aspekte wie Motor- sport, Elektromobilität, Forschung und Entwick- lung, Werbung sowie die faszinierende Welt zwei- er Weltenbummler auf ihren BMW Motorrädern finden ihren Platz.
The rotunda, built in 1973, houses a themed exhibi- tion with around 15 stations. Five large exhibition levels are dedicated to the most famous BMW mo- torcycle designers, different customer interests, the most fascinating motorcycle combinations and outstanding models. In addition, unique trea- sures from the historic BMW Group Classic vehicle collection are presented to the public for the first time on their own platform.
At the heart of the exhibition is a series of origi- nal motorcycles dating back 100 years, reflecting the development of the BMW Motorrad brand over the years. In addition, tanks, seats, lights, helmets, frames and smaller technical details trace the ex- citing lines of development from the past to the present. There is also space for special aspects such as motorsport, electric mobility, research and development, advertising and the fascinating wor- ld of two globetrotters on their BMW motorcycles.
