Im Laufe seiner 115-jährigen Geschichte hat Bugat- ti einige der begehrtesten Autos aller Zeiten gebaut. Berühmt für ihren technischen Einfallsreichtum, ihre Schönheit und ihre Seltenheit, ist die Gelegenheit für Enthusiasten, einen Bugatti zu ersteigern, immer mit einer großen Begeisterung verbunden, die die zeitlo- se Anziehungskraft der Marke Bugatti demonstriert. Bei der kürzlich von Gooding & Company veranstal- teten Auktion Selections from the Mullin Collection übertraf jedes Bugatti-Modell seinen geschätzten Verkaufspreis. Die Lose der Mullin Collection wurden aus dem ehemaligen Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Kalifornien, angeboten. Es war neben vielen anderen Attraktionen als die größte Sammlung franzö- sischer Oldtimer und Art-Déco-Automobile der Welt bekannt, wurde aber nach dem Tod seines visionären Gründers Peter Mullin im September 2023 endgültig geschlossen. Das Mullin Automotive Museum zeigte das bemerkenswerte Talent der gesamten Bugatti-Fa- milie und beherbergte mehr als 75 Möbelstücke von Carlo Bugatti, zahlreiche Skulpturen von Rembrandt und die größte Privatsammlung von Automobilen von Ettore und Jean Bugatti in der Welt. Das Highlight des Museums war lange Zeit der von Jean Bugatti entwor- fene Typ 57SC Atlantic aus dem Jahr 1936.

At the recent Selections from the Mullin Collection Auction by Gooding & Company, each Bugatti mo- del outperformed its estimated sale price.
The Mullin Collection lots were offered from the former Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Ca- lifornia. It was renowned as the greatest collection of French Classic and Art Deco automobiles in the world, alongside many other star attractions, but closed permanently following the death of its visio- nary founder, Peter Mullin, in September 2023. Dis- playing the remarkable talent of the entire Bugatti family, the Mullin Automotive Museum housed more than 75 pieces of furniture by Carlo Bugatti, numerous sculptures by Rembrandt, and the lar- gest private collection of Ettore and Jean Bugatti automobiles in the world. For a long time, the high- light of the museum was the Jean Bugatti-designed 1936 Type 57SC Atlantic.
