When you opened the first of the two V8 Hotels at Motorworld Region Stuttgart almost 15 years ago, you pioneered a completely new kind of ho- tel. What was your vision?
There were numerous challenges in opening the first V8 HOTEL in 2009 in a listed building as a theme and design hotel. The main building was built in 1925 in the unique Bauhaus style. In this part of the building, we have designed the rooms with racing scenes from the 1920s and 1930s and fitted them out with typical Bauhaus furniture. Additionally, many automobile artists have provided their original works for the hotel rooms. It took courage to resolutely realise such a concept, as there were many sceptics along the way who advised against it. Our success and numerous awards - we are one of the „10 most exceptional hotels in Europe“ - have made us proud. We waited around seven years to expand our portfolio. The new V8 HOTEL Superior was opened in 2018. We now offer over 1000 square metres of large event areas that are accessible by car and on which events of every format can be held. Today, we are the largest privately run hotel in Stuttgart and the local region.
