Am 20. April 1925 landete das erste Linienflugzeug auf dem Flughafen Stutt- gart-Böblingen. Das vor fast 100 Jahren hypermoderne Empfangsgebäude ist heute Teil der Motorworld Stuttgart. Ganz neu ist der informative Stelenweg, der zu einem Spaziergang in die Historie des ehemaligen Landesflughafens von Württemberg einlädt. Eröffnet wurde die neue Attraktion auf dem Flug- feld Böblingen-Sindelfingen von Böblingens OB Stefan Belz und Böblingens Kulturamtsleiter Peter Conzelmann im Beisein von Motorworld Stuttgart Cen- ter-Managerin Kirschbaum.
On 20 April 1925, the first commercial aircraft landed at Stuttgart-Böblingen airport. The terminal, ultra-modern almost 100 years ago, is now part of Motor- world Stuttgart. The informative Stelenweg with its slab inscriptions is brand new and invites visitors to take a stroll through the history of the former Würt- temberg state airport. The new attraction at the Böblingen-Sindelfingen airfield was opened by the Mayor of Böblingen, Stefan Belz, and Peter Conzelmann, di- rector of the Böblingen Cultural Office, in the presence of Motorworld Stuttgart Center Manager Susanne Kirschbaum.
