Ein Highlight des Concours D´Elegance war der Miura P400 S Millechiodi. Dieses Fahrzeug wird von Lamborghini Polo Storico besonders gehegt, weil es eine außergewöhnliche Geschichte auf- weist. Als Miura P400 S, so die Geburtsurkunde von Polo Storica, verließ 1969 das Fahrzeug mit der Fahrgestellnummer 4302 das Werk in Sant´A- gata Bolognese. Der Miura trug eine Blu Notte (dunkelblaue) Lackierung. Nach einer Reihe itali- enischer Besitzer ging er 1975 in den Besitz von Giovanni Sotgiu und Walter Ronchi über, zwei wichtige Namen in der Geschichte von Lambor- ghini. Neben ihrer Arbeit im Autohaus Lamborcar in Mailand waren sie die ersten Eigentümer des Miura Jota von Bob Wallace. Im Sinne dessen, den Jota nachzubilden, verwandelten sie den bei einem Unfall beschädigten 400 S in etwas, das wesentlich mehr an ein Rennauto erinnert. Nach einer gewaltigen Investition war ihr nun in Verde Scuro (dunkelgrün lackierter Miura fertig. Er ist mit so vielen Nieten versehen, dass der Name Mille- chiodi (,,eintausend Nägel“) von selbst entstanden ist.
A highlight of the Concours D‘Elegance was the Mi- ura P400 S Millechiodi. This vehicle is particularly treasured by Lamborghini Polo Storico because it has an extraordinary history. According to Polo Storica‘s birth certificate, the vehicle with chassis number 4302 left the plant in Sant‘Agata Bologne- se in 1969 as the Miura P400 S. The Miura sported a Blu Notte (dark blue) livery. After a series of Ita- lian owners, in 1975 it passed to Giovanni Sotgiu and Walter Ronchi, two important names in the history of
Lamborghini. In addition to their work at the Lam- borcar car dealership in Milan, they were the first Owner of Bob Wallace‘s Miura Jota. In the sense of imitating the iota,
they transformed the accident-damaged 400 S into something far more reminiscent of a racing car. After a huge investment, she was now finished in Verde Scuro (Miura painted dark green. It has so many rivets that the name Millechiodi („a thousand nails“) came into being by itself.
