Der Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione von
Scaglietti aus dem Jahr 1960 wurde bei der Auktion RM
Sotheby’s Paris 2024 für 10.158.125 Euro versteigert und
war damit das teuerste Auto der Pariser Rétromobile Week.
Das Chassis 1773 GT, diese seltene Competizione-Version
mit Leichtmetallkarosserie, kann auf eine außergewöhnliche
Renngeschichte zurückblicken. Er debütierte 1960 bei
den 12 Stunden von Sebring als N.A.R.T.-Teilnehmer und
belegte Platz 7 in der Gesamtwertung und Platz 5 in der
Klasse, während zwei andere SWBs die Plätze 4 und 6
belegten. Der Wagen errang außerdem vier Gesamt- oder
Klassensiege, darunter die Nassau Tourist Trophy, und
zehn Podiumsplätze zwischen 1960 und 1961. Kürzlich
für 1 Mio. $ restauriert, trugen seine Abstammung und
sein Zustand dazu bei, dass er einen achtstelligen Preis
erzielte.

Scaglietti sold for €10,158,125 at the RM Sotheby’s Paris
2024 auction, marking it as the most expensive car of the
Paris Rétromobile Week. Chassis 1773 GT, this rare alloy-
bodied Competizione version, boasts an exceptional racing
history. It debuted at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring as a
N.A.R.T. entry, finishing 7th overall and 5th in class, while two
other SWBs placed 4th and 6th. The car also achieved four
overall or class victories, including the Nassau Tourist Trophy,
and ten podium finishes between 1960 and 1961. Recently
restored at a reported cost of $1M, its pedigree and condition
helped it achieve an eight-figure price.
