Trotz der anspruchsvollen Bedingungen verliefen die vier Wertungsläufe am Samstag und Sonntag weitgehend reibungslos. Lediglich ein kleiner Zwi- schenfall am Freitag sorgte für Aufsehen: Der Por- sche des Le Mans-Siegers Fabio Scherer geriet im Zielbereich in Brand. Glücklicherweise blieb Sche- rer unverletzt, der Brand konnte schnell gelöscht werden – das Fahrzeug jedoch war irreparabel be- schädigt.
Ein besonderes Highlight des Events war der Be- such der Motorsportlegende Walter Röhrl, der in Kooperation mit dem Eventsponsor Porsche Schweiz angereist war. Röhrl, eine Ikone des Ral- lyesports, ließ es sich nicht nehmen, die berühm- te Bergrennstrecke selbst zu befahren. Mit seiner meisterhaften Fahrkunst zog er die Blicke der Zu- schauer auf sich und stellte eindrucksvoll unter Beweis, warum er zu den Größten seines Sports zählt. Im Anschluss nahm sich Röhrl ausgiebig Zeit für Autogramme und den Austausch mit Fans, was ihn zu einem der Sympathieträger des Wochen- endes machte. Am Abend wurde er zudem als Ehrengast beim Jubiläumsdinner in der Eventhalle gebührend gefeiert.
Despite the challenging conditions, the four races on Saturday and Sunday went off without a hitch for the most part. Only a minor incident on Friday caused a stir: the Porsche of Le Mans winner Fabio Scherer caught fire in the finish area. Fortunately, Scherer was unhurt and the fire was quickly extinguished. However, the vehicle was damaged beyond repair.
A special highlight of the event was the visit of motorsport legend Walter Röhrl, who came in cooperation with the event sponsor Porsche Switzerland. Röhrl, an icon of rallying, took the opportunity to drive the famous hill climb himself. With his masterful driving skills, he attracted the attention of the spectators and impressively demonstrated why he is one of the greatest in his sport. Afterwards, Röhrl took plenty of time to sign autographs and chat with fans, making him one of the most popular figures of the weekend. In the evening, he was also celebrated as a guest of honor at the anniversary dinner in the event hall.
