Die Motorworld München war Schauplatz für ein besonders Fotoshooting, das aufgrund seiner Be- sonderheit räumliche Größe voraussetzte. Zum 75. Geburtstag von DAF Trucks trafen sich ein histori- scher (von 1978) und ein moderner Truck vor dem Haupteingang der Motorworld München.
DAF Trucks, gegründet im Jahr 1949 in Eindho- ven, Niederlande, hat eine 75-jährige Geschichte voller Innovationen und Wachstum hinter sich. Ursprünglich begann das Unternehmen als An- hänger- und Fahrzeugaufbaufirma, bevor es sich schnell zu einem bedeutenden Hersteller von Last- wagen entwickelte.
In den frühen Jahren konzentrierte sich DAF auf die Produktion von mittelschweren und schwe- ren Lastwagen. In den 1950er Jahren erlangte das Unternehmen Anerkennung durch die Einführung des ersten europäischen Lastwagens mit einem Turbomotor. Die robusten und zuverlässigen Mo- delle waren bei Spediteuren beliebt und legten den Grundstein für den Erfolg von DAF.
Motorworld München was the setting for a special photo shoot, which due to its special nature required a lot of space. To mark the 75th anniversary of DAF Trucks, an historic truck from 1978 and a modern vehicle came to together in front of the main entrance to Motorworld München.
The Dutch company DAF Trucks, founded in 1949 in Eindhoven, can look back on a 75-year-long history of innovation and growth. Having originally started out as a trailer and vehicle body builder, the company quickly developed into a major truck manufacturer.
In the early years, DAF concentrated on the production of medium and heavy-duty trucks. In the 1950s, the company gained recognition with the introduction of the first European truck with a turbocharged engine. The robust and reliable models were popular with haulage companies and laid the foundations for DAF’s success.
