Die Rennen der zweisitzigen Sportwagen und GT bis 1965 erwiesen sich erneut als Publikumsmag- net. Mit Fahrzeugen wie dem Ferrari 246 SP, Ma- serati 300 S und dem Bizzarini 5300 GT brachte dieser Teil des Events einen Hauch italienischen Flairs auf die Strecke. Aber auch britische und deutsche Klassiker wie der Austin Healey, Porsche 356 und Mercedes-Benz 300 SL waren zahlreich vertreten. Die britische HGPCA-Rennserie zeigte Formel-1-Fahrzeuge aus einer Zeit, in der die Ent- wicklung von Front- zu Heckmotoren stattfand.
The races of the two-seater sports cars and GTs up to 1965 once again proved to be a crowd- puller. With vehicles such as the Ferrari 246 SP, Maserati 300 S and the Bizzarini 5300 GT, this part of the event brought a touch of Italian flair to the track. But British and German classics such as the Austin Healey, Porsche 356 and Mercedes-Benz 300 SL were also well represented. The British HGPCA racing series showcased Formula 1 cars from a time when the development from front to rear engines was taking place.
