Am 18. August 2024 findet in Pebble Beach, Kalifornien, eine der prestigeträchtigsten Automobilveranstaltungen statt. Dieser Con- cours ist der Inbegriff von Automobilausstellungen und zieht die bes- ten Teilnehmer weltweit an. Die Veranstaltung wird von Jahr zu Jahr besser, und die Besucherzahlen steigen, obwohl die Eintrittspreise steigen. Das Wall Street Journal bezeichnete die Veranstaltung als: „Der Pebble Beach Concours d‘Elegance ist die weltbeste jährliche Ausstellung historischer und schöner Autos.“
In diesem Jahr gingen 214 Autos aus 16 Ländern und 29 Staaten an den Start. Die Show wächst in der Tat mit der Nachfrage nach Teilnah- me aus allen Ecken der Welt.
Mit dem zunehmenden Kaliber der Autos steigt auch der Wettbewerb in Bezug auf die Vorbereitung und Präsentation der Fahrzeuge. Jedes Detail an den Autos wird genauestens überprüft und nochmals über- prüft.
August 18, 2024 saw one of the most prestigious automotive events take place at Pebble Beach, California. This concours represents the epitome of automobile shows and draws the best participants worldwide. The event keeps getting better year and year with the crowds getting larger in spite of an increase in ticket prices. The wall street journal referred to it as: “The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the world’s best annual display of historic and beautiful cars.”
This year, 214 cars from 16 countries and 29 states pulled onto the competition field. The show is growing indeed with the demand for participation coming from all corners of the world.
With the caliber of cars improving, so is the competition in terms of preparation and presentation of the vehicles involved. Every detail on the cars is scrupulously checked and rechecked again.
