Der Initiator: Edmon Avagyan ist das Gesicht von RING- LIFE, dem größten YouTube-Kanal für Kampfsport im deutschsprachigen Raum. Edmon hat dort eine treue Community von über 500.000 Abonnenten aufgebaut. Das Event-Format: Ein spektakuläres 8-Mann-Turnier im K.o.-Modus in der Gewichtsklasse bis 80 Kilo- gramm. Insgesamt gab es drei Meisterschaftsrunden: Viertelfinale (3 Runden à 2 Minuten), Halbfinale (3 Runden à 2 Minuten) und Finale (5 Runden à 2 Minu- ten). Die Kämpfe wurden mit 6-Unzen-Handschuhen ausgetragen.
Talentierte (Amateur-)Kämpfer sollen so eine Plattform haben und den Standkampf in Deutschland in den Vordergrund rücken. Als Preisgeld wurden insgesamt 30.000 Euro ausgeschüttet.
Das Motto begeisterte die 2300 Zuschauer, die an die- sem Abend in die 1920er-Jahre à la „Peaky Blinders“ eintauchten und in der Motorworld Köln eine Welt vol- ler Gangster, Schmuggler, Casinos und vor allem spek- takulären Kämpfen erlebten.

The event format: a spectacular 8-man tourna- ment in knockout mode in the weight class up to 80kg. In total, there were three championship rounds with quarter-finals (3 rounds of 2 minutes each), semi-finals (3 rounds of 2 minutes) and the final (5 rounds of 2 minutes). The fighters wore 6-ounce gloves.
The aim of the event is to give talented (amateur) fighters a platform and bring stand-up fighting to the fore in Germany. Prize money totalling 30,000 euros was shared out.
The motto thrilled the 2,300 spectators, who im- mersed themselves in the 1920s à la „Peaky Blin- ders“ and experienced a world full of gangsters, smugglers, casinos and, above all, spectacular fights at Motorworld Köln.
