Nach dem Start fuhren die Autos bis zur Burg von Brescia, wo die ersten Zeitprüfungen stattfanden, und begannen dann mit einer Dorfparade auf der Piazza Vittoria. Auf der Fahrt durch die Weinberge und Hügel der Franciacorta mussten sie zusammen mit den Ferrari-Tribute-Fahrzeugen aus Iseo sechs aufeinanderfolgende Zeitprüfungen absolvieren, bevor eine Durchfahrtskontrolle am höchsten runden Glockenturm Europas in Palazzolo sull’Oglio stattfand, die in den Raum Bergamo führte.
Als die historischen Fahrzeuge Bergamo verließen, klarte der Himmel zeitweise auf und ließ die Sonne durchscheinen. Nach 100 Kilometern erreichte der Konvoi das historische Zentrum von Novara, wo in der Nähe des Theaters Coccia eine weitere Durchfahrtskontrolle stattfand. After the start, the cars drove up to the castle of Brescia, where the first time trials took place, and then started with a village parade in Piazza Vittoria. Travelling through the vineyards and hills of Franciacorta, together with the Ferrari tribute cars from Iseo, they had to complete six consecutive time trials before a passage cont- rol at the highest round bell tower in Europe in Palazzolo sull‘Oglio, which led into the Bergamo area.
As the historic vehicles left Bergamo, the sky cleared at times and let the sun shine through. After 100 kilometres, the convoy reached the historic centre of Novara, where another pas- sage check took place near the Coccia Theatre. The participants now had four days of glorious sunshine ahead of them.
