Was darf man nicht verpassen an Events in 2024 und warum?

2024 verspricht ein aufregendes Jahr für alle Mobili- tätsenthusiasten zu werden! Es beginnt mit einer Fülle von Veranstaltungen, angefangen beim „Overland- und Vanlife Festival“ Ende April, das sowohl Abenteu- erlustige als auch Weltenbummler gleichermaßen an- sprechen wird. Anfang Mai folgt das „Season Opening“ für alle, die die Freiheit auf vier Rädern lieben, sowie das traditionsreiche Event am ersten Maisonntag. Aber das ist noch längst nicht alles! Es stehen vier Ausgaben des beliebten Events „Older Classics“ an, sowie Treffen für Liebhaber französischer, deutscher und italieni- scher Fahrzeuge. Eine absolute Neuheit in diesem Jahr ist das beeindruckende Super- und Hypercar-Event „MYLE Festival“! Und zum krönenden Abschluss er- wartet euch das mitreißende 2Rad-Festival „Töffträff“!
Von welchem Fahrzeug träumt ihr?
Chris Baer:
„Ach... (lacht) es gibt so viele schöne Autos. Aber mein All-Time-Favorite ist sicher ein 1980er Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe. Am besten in tourmaline blau mit beigem Interieur. Dieses englische, 400bhp Supercar habe ich 1999 zum ersten Mal an einem Event auf dem Anwesen von Lord Montagu of Beaulieu gesehen, und seitdem geht es mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf.
Franzi Friesch:
Mein Traumauto geht in eine etwas andere Richtung, obwohl wir fast im selben Jahrgang unterwegs sind. Schon als Kind haben wir Ausflüge im 1979 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade unternommen und auch heute ist das mein Traumauto. Ohne Türen, Dach und Fenster zu fahren, bedeutet für mich ultimative Freiheit
Which events shouldn‘t be missed in 2024 and why?
Franziska Friesch:
2024 promises to be a thrilling year for all mobi- lity enthusiasts! It kicks off with a host of events, beginning with the „Overland and Vanlife Festival“ at the end of April, which will appeal to adven- ture-seekers and globetrotters alike. The „Season Opening“ for everyone who loves freedom on four wheels follows at the beginning of May, while the traditional event takes place on the first Sunday in May. But that‘s not all by any means! Four editions of the popular „Older Classics“ event are scheduled, as well as meetings for lovers of French, German and Italian vehicles. An absolute novelty this year is the impressive supercar and hyper car event „MYLE Festival“! And to top it all off, the enthralling „Töff- träff“ 2-wheeler festival awaits you!
What vehicle do you dream about?
Chris Baer:
„Oh... (laughs) there are so many beautiful cars. But my all-time favourite is definitely a 1980 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe. Preferably in blue tour- maline with a beige interior. I first saw this English 400 bhp supercar at an event on the estate of Lord Montagu of Beaulieu in 1999, and I haven‘t been able to get it out of my head since.
Franzi Friesch:
My dream car goes in a slightly different direc- tion, although we are almost in the same vinta- ge bracket. Even as a child we used to go on trips in a 1979 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade, and it‘s still my dream car today. Driving without doors, a roof and windows means the ultimate freedom for me.
