Und was verbindet Sie mit der Autoindustrie?
Durch mein motiviertes Schaffen und das Interesse für Fahr- zeuge landete ich nach dem Studium in der Autoindustrie. n den letzten 22 Jahren haben ich in der Automobilbranche mit sehr viel Leidenschaft die unterschiedlichsten Innovatio- nen gestalten dürfen. Zuletzt bei der BMW Group im Lichtde- signund der Entwicklung von energiesparenden Scheinwer- fern. Ich bin auf vieles sehr Stolz und blicke mit Freude auf diese Momente zurück. Ein Traumjob für sehr viel Menschen. Aber – als Designer arbeiten wir an der Zukunft von Hightech Produkten undunsere Ideen beschäftigen hunderte Men- schen, bis sieverwirklicht werden. Hektik, Geschwindigkeit und komplexeProzesse gehören da zum Alltag.
Und wie kam – wenn man so sagen darf – die Wende?
Für einige Zeit erlosch in mir die Leidenschaft für Natur und das Arbeiten mit Holz. Ich war komplett im Hightech-Leben der Industrie integriert und spürte aber immer mehr, dass etwas in meinem Leben fehlte.

Thanks to my motivated work and interest in vehicles, I en- ded up in the automotive industry after my studies. Thanks to my motivated work and interest in vehicles, I ended up in the automotive industry after my studies. Over the past 22 years, I have been able to shape a wide variety of innova- tions in the automotive industry with a great deal of passion. Most recently at the BMW Group in lighting design and the development of energy-saving headlights. I am very proud of many things and look back on these moments with pleasure. A dream job for a lot of people, but as designers we work on the future of high-tech products and our ideas keep hund- reds of people busy until they are realized. A hectic pace, speed and complex processes are part of everyday life.
And how did the turning point - if you can call it that - come about?
For a while, I lost my passion for nature and working with wood. I was completely integrated into the high-tech life of the industry and felt more and more that something was missing in my life.
